Cetus GPS 1.2b8 (Released July 12, 2005)
- Added support for several new garmin units.
- Removed the rover page for now.
Cetus GPS 1.2b7 (Released September 29, 2004)
- Improved the 'sort by distance' speed.
- Added a 'Distance' option to the Position Prefs.
- The addressbook button now triggers the 'Select position database' and 'Track manager' dialogs. In these dialogs the button trigger 'OK'.
- The 'Select position database', 'Copy to database', 'Move to database', 'Select database', 'Export position' and 'Track manager' dialogs have been resized.
- The track log is now saved in memory each minute.
- iQue 3600: Cetus GPS now detects when the GPS antenna is activated.
- iQue 3600: The title shows the estimated accuracy in meters instead of the DOP value which is unavailable on the iQue.
- iQue 3600: The skyview image at the GPS page shows more details.
- Fixed a minor problem with the debug memo save when using a sony CF GPS.

Cetus GPS 1.2b5 (Released Februrary 13, 2004)
- Added Position Preferences form
- Added suppport for sorting positions by their name or their distance to the last known location.

- The description field in the position record now handles up to 4096 bytes of text.

Cetus GPS 1.1b19 (Released December 29, 2002)
- Added full support for the 5-way navigate button on the Palm Tungsten.

- Cetus GPS now ignores activation of the Hotsync button placed on the cradle and some serial cables.
- When editing a new position Cetus GPS now defaults to the hemisphere specified by the latest obtained position. All other fields are filled out by zeros.

Cetus GPS 1.1b12 (Released August 9, 2002)
- Added a new waypoint list feature with support for multiple lists.
- Replaced the previous position page by a waypoint list page containing the same basic features.

Cetus GPS 1.0b4 (Not a public release)
- Changed the no satellites being tracked text from 'Tracking...' to 'No fix' because a general 'Tracking' status and a 'Track' page that has nothing to do with it may be a little confusing.
- Changed the track page so the statusbar updates faster when switching to the page.
- Changed the status bar for the demo mode. Now it shows Sat and HDOP like in normal mode.
- Changed the demo mode from random values to using data from a recorded track (for now it is a little walk about Kristiansten Festning - a fortress Trondheim city, Norway).

- Cetus GPS has been tested with the new HandEra emulator (withou GPS attached). While PCetus GPS does not yet support the extra features of the HandEra, it seems to work fine.
PathFinder 0.3a2 (Released April 7, 2001)
- A PathFinder User Guide in PDF format is now distributed along with the PathFinder program.
- The current PathFinder version is now saved when using the 'Debug' function.
- The serial communication is now maintained while running in demo mode, this may solve a problem with recovering from demo mode to normal mode while using some GPS receivers.
- Fixed an error causing a fatal error dialog when pressing the Address book button in the preferences dialog.
PathFinder 0.3a1 (Released March 27, 2001)
- Completely rewritten the handling of incoming NMEA data to make sure that no timing problems occur any more. This also implies that the user interface responds faster.
- HDOP and magnetic variation are now retrieved from the GPS.
- Added a 'Debug' menu to the GPS page. This menu is for use when 'NMEA' reports 'Error' or some part of PathFinder does not work properly. After selecting Debug, PathFinder will create a Memo with the name 'PathFinder Debug' that contains relevant information and a 4 second raw sample from the serial port.
- Added a 'Preference' dialog.
- Added altitude and time data options for the 'Add waypoint' dialog to the 'Preference' dialog.
- Added a 'Disregard GPS fix' option to the 'Preferences' dialog. Selection this option causes the NMEA engine to base data validation on the number of satellites being tracked instead of the GPS fix information.
- Added unit conversion options to the 'Preference' dialog.
- Added UTC offset option to the 'Preference' dialog.
- Added a 'Stay on' option to the 'Preference' dialog.
- Added magnetic variation and HDOP values to the 'GPS' page.
- The 'NMEA' status on the 'GPS' page now reports 'Ok' if everything is ok, 'Error' if the data retrieved from the GPS is not completely reliable or 'Waiting...' if no statistic data are available yet.
- The 'Register' dialog has been removed since no registration is necessary yet.

PathFinder 0.2a6 (Released March 19, 2001)
- The 'Add Waypoint' dialog design has been modified slightly.
- The format of a waypoint Memo has been changed, the seconds in the timestamp and the number of satellites has been removed.
- Fixed an error causing the 'Copy' button in the 'Add Waypoint' dialog to copy one character too much.
- Now the default waypoint name counter does not increase when tapping the 'Copy' button in the 'Add Waypoint' dialog.

PathFinder 0.2a5 (Released March 18, 2001)
- Added a 'Demo' mode that feeds PathFinder with random GPS data.
- Added a rotating compass to the 'Navigate' page. The compass has a resolution of 16 steps for 360 degrees.
- Changed the design of the 'GPS' page.
- Removed lat/lon/alt from the 'GPS' page and added information about NMEA and Palm battery.
- 'Added a 'Copy' button to the 'Add Waypoint' dialog which copies the current position and altitude to the clipboard for paste in other applications.

- The NMEA 0183 V2.0 driver now maintains communication to the GPS when the 'About' or the 'Register' page are viewed.

PathFinder 0.2a2 (Released March 8, 2001)
- Added support for hard buttons
- Reverted to the old serial manager since Palm III needs a flash upgrade in order to support it. The performance increase isn't worth it.
- Changed the text 'Registration' to 'Register in menus and the Register view.
- Removed 'Waypoint' in the 'Page' menu since the current 'Add waypoint isn't really a page yet.
- Corrected an error causing the minimum and maximum altitude to show default values, when no valid data has been retrieved from the GPS yet.
PathFinder 0.2a1 (Released March 4, 2001)
- Added 'Pages' menu. PathFinder now consists of different pages that gives access to a navigation assistant and position and track logging features.
- Changed the previous main view to 'GPS' page.
- Added 'GPS' menu to the GPS page.
- Added 'Date', 'Altitude', 'Speed', 'Course', 'Tracking' and 'DGPS' fields to the GPS page.

- Restructured the NMEA 0183 V2.0 driver, it now retrieves data from the GPS continously. Retrieved data are latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, heading, time, date, fix type and number of satellites.
- PathFinder now use the PalmOS new serial manager.
- Changed all calculations to integer which performs a lot faster on the Palm and probably vill benefit in more 'doze' time which equals battery saving, when the time comes to optimizing in a later release.
- Auto off is now disabled when PathFinder is running. Upon termination, the user preference for AutoOff is restored.
- Temporary removed the dependence on the MathLib library due to the integer calculations.
PathFinder 0.1a2 (Released February 21, 2001)
- Added 'About' view showing version number, copyright statement, website and email adresses.
- Added MathLib dependency, for use in geometric calculations. The MathLib library is distributed under GNU Library General Public License, thank you very much Rick Huebner.
- Added a nice satellite icon for the launcher.
- Changed the lat/lon format in the GPS Info view to hddd°mm.mmmm'
